I am an Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of Florida. Before joining UF, I was a faculty member at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. I earned my Ph.D. from the Department of Political Science at Washington University in St. Louis. My research and teaching interests are in normative political theory, public policy, and comparative political theory, with a focus on Latin America. I am also affiliated with The University of Florida Center for Latin American Studies. In addition to my research and teaching, I direct the Public Affairs Program of the Department of Political Science at UF, co-direct the Ethics and Public Policy Working Group of the PPE Society, and serve as an associate editor for Latin America at the International Journal of Social Welfare.

Actualmente trabajo como profesor asistente de ciencia política en la University of Florida. Previamente fui profesor (asistente y asociado) en la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Obtuve mi doctorado en el departamento de ciencia política en la Washington University in St. Louis. Mis intereses de docencia e investigación incluyen teoría política normativa, políticas públicas y pensamiento político latinoamericano. En la Universidad de Florida también estoy afiliado al Centro de Estudios Latinoamericanos
